Birthday Celebration

We kicked off Spring Break this last Friday night with taking #1 out for his birthday celebration. We have made the decision to alternate years for party. On the off year of the party, they get to choose where they want to eat. He chose ESPN Zone which is a great place for my budding sports guy, but it was 1 1/2 hour to 2 hour wait...uh no thanks. We then went to Rainforest Cafe, same thing. We ended up eating at the taco place . It worked out perfectly. You can tell that my camera skills are still being worked on.

Then off to shopping. This is the boy form of Build-A-Bear called Ride Makerz. You get to build a remote control car. They loved it, but we didn't get a car. It was still fun to play.

One of the only ways to keep track of this guy. He is everywhere.

Next stop was the Lego store. Again, lots of fun choices, but we ended up with 2 key chains (one of which got left in a Sonic bathroom 30 minutes later)

Really this is more of a store for him. He is my lego builder.

He though is not ok with heights. Just a little worried about falling.

Dad came to the rescue.

Our last activity was to drive some boats. Fun times.

It was a very enjoyable evening despite all the people. We had no agenda and no one to please but ourselves. That makes for non stressed parents.
