God's love amazes me

I cannot express how much God has been teaching me lately. I have lots to think about and ponder, but today we had an amazing message from our pastor. It fit so well with where I have been lately and with where God is leading me. You can listen to it and watch it here. http://www.sandalschurch.com/media/video.asp

He talked about relationships. How Jesus came to not only to mend our relationship with Him, but with each other too. We have all messed up in some way or another and we need to love each other anyway.
We ended the service with this song from Hillsong called "Mighty to Save"
Everyone needs compassion,
Love that's never failing;
Let mercy fall on me.

Everyone needs forgiveness,
The kindness of a Saviour;
The Hope of nations.Saviour,

He can move the mountains,
My God is Mighty to save,
He is Mighty to save.
Forever, Author of salvation,
He rose and conquered the grave,
Jesus conquered the grave.

So take me as You find me,
All my fears and failures,
Fill my life again.

I give my life to follow
Everything I believe in,
Now I surrender.

My Saviour,
He can move the mountains,
My God is Mighty to save,
He is Mighty to save.
Forever, Author of salvation,
He rose and conquered the grave,
Jesus conquered the grave.
Shine your light and let the whole world see,
We're singing for the glory of the risen King...Jesus

Came across your blog through a Google alerts that I get. My name happens to be Daniel Atchison as well. My wife Maria and I live in Birmingham after living in Southern Cal for a few years and then Tampa. We were associate pastors at a couple of different churches when we lost our 5-year-old son, Josiah, to cancer. We're taking a bit of a sabbatical now.

Just wanted to say hello. I noticed you guys go to Sandals. Great church! I keep up with Carlos Whittaker's blog and he's all the time talking about his time there.

Anyway, hope all is well. Thanks so much for the link to the message.
